Input module helps to control failures (break, short circuit) of communication line between the input module and the device under control.
By the alarm loop resistance control, addressable mark transmits corresponding event alert (contacts closing/opening, failure) to receiving and control panel with address specified.
Input module power supply as well as signals transmission to receiving and control panel are realized via addressable communication line. IM1 input module may be installed in DIN rail using special securing bar (not in the scope of supply; may be provided by separate order).
From a functional point of view, IМ-4 input module includes four separate IМ-1 logical units.
At the input module board, there is a button used as a decapsulation sensor as well as for device addressing at the receiving and controlling panel.
Every input module’s loop may be connected with one or two detectors with dry contact type output. Parallel to each annunciator, bypass resistor shall be connected. Detectors contacts may be either normally closed or normally opened. Initial configuration is required for correct identification of detectors connected.
