IP 212-50M stand-alone electro optic smoke detector detects fire accompanied with small concentration of smoke in different buildings and facilities enclosed rooms by recording optical emission reflected from smoke particles and generating loud audible signals alerts.

The detector does not respond to temperature, humidity changes and to the presence of flame and natural or artificial light. Detector consists of a sensor and mounting bar. Sensor represents plastic housing with built-in optoelectronic system and board with radioelements. The detachable connection between the sensor and the mounting bar provides easy installation, mounting, and maintenance of the detector.


Detector provides the following:

  • detector stand-by mode restoration 20 minutes past smoke removal;
  • easy testing using TEST button;
  • due to computer-aided results processing, decision on Fire signal generation may be made with maximum precision and considerably decreased likelihood for false alarm;
  • optimal overall dimensions (Ø95 50 mm) and modern housing design;
  • wide range of operation temperature from minus 10 to plus 55;
  • detector power supply is realized through Krona power component (within the scope of supply) of nominal voltage of 9V.

Up to eight detectors may be combined into a group in order to generate External alarm signal in case of activation at least one of group detectors:

  • open power compartment cover;
  • for detectors No. 2. No.8, set jumper in Slave position. For the last detector, connect terminal resistor 5.1 kOhm (in the scope of supply; one per loop circuit) to terminal block;
  • for detector No. 1: set jumper in Master position.
  • using two-wire line, connect all the detectors taking into account the polarity (branching is not allowed).
  • install power element.
