AMP-4 prot.R3

AMP-4 prot. R3 Fire Addressable Mark is connected to the addressable system of conventional fire and security alarm detectors, reader Wiegand, to control announcing system, engineering systems and to communicate information on the alarm loop state to the receiving and controlling panel. It is designed to operate as a part of addressable system controlled by the Rubezh-2OP prot. R3 receiving control alarm panel.

AMP-4 prot.R3 addressable mark provides:

  • connection with conventional safety, heat, smoke, manual or linear fire detectors;
  • safety reset of the loop to prevent from false alarm;

  • functional check of alarm loops and output control lines for break and short circuit;

  • alarm control - indicator panels and audible alarms;

  • different modes of power outputs operation;

  • save areas activation/deactivation using Proximity-card reader operating in Wiegand format or by means of Rubezh-2OP prot. R3 commands.

  • external devices control, i.e. EM lock using clapper with dry contact relay by commands sent from fire alarm control and indicating panel or using Proximity cards.

Module power supply is realized from external power source of 12 or 24V.

Addressable communication lines are electrically isolated from addressable mark power lines.

In the system, the addressable mark represents eight individual logical devices with corresponding number of addresses allocated:

  • 4 alarm loops;
  • 2 outputs with circuit break control;
  • 1 dry contact type output;
  • 1 Wiegand interface. AM-4 prot.R3 addressable mark may be installed in DIN rail using special securing bar (not in the scope of supply; may be provided by separate order).

Control loops types of heat and smoke fire detectors, security detectors:

Type 1 - smoke alarm loop with control of short circuit and break to connect with stand alone smoke detectors, manual detectors, linear detectors. When one of the alarms in the loop actuates, the addressable mark switches to the Fire 1 state (when safety reset is activated, switching is done after repeated actuation of one alarm after safety reset). The addressable mark switches to the Fire 2 state only when two smoke detectors or one manual detector are activated.

Type 3 - heat alarm loop with control of short circuit and connection break with point heat detectors. When one of the heat detectors actuates, addressable mark switches to the Fire 1 state; switching to the Fire 2 state is initiated only when two heat detectors are activated.

Type 6 - security loop type for connecting security detectors with a dry contact, NC or NO output. The addressable mark switches to the Alarm state when any detector is activated, or when the loop is broken or short-circuited, if the loop is in the security mode, or the case is opened.

In the diagram, the following connections are shown:

  • with AL1 of security alarms (AL1 has security type of loop - type 6);
  • with AL2 of smoke and manual detectors (AL2 has smoke type of loop - type 1).

* loop control for break and short circuit shall be performed only at the loop with deactivated security mode. Loop break and short circuit with activated security mode is recognised as Alert (actuation).
